British author JK Rowling faces a backlash over her anti-trans comment on twitter. The Harry Potter author comment generate a lot of debate on twitter as users criticized her.

Some of the twitter users feels that JK Rowling comment was trying to define women and sees women as one who has menstrual period.

One of the twitter user said, “That’s interesting, because I have endometriosis and an IUD in place to treat it, and therefore, I no longer menstruate. I haven’t had a menstrual cycle since early high school, and I’m 21. I guess I’m not a woman anymore?”
Another said, “Not all women menstruate and not all who menstruate are women. There are many girls, non-binary folx, trans boys, and trans men who also get a period. We recognize that language change can be uncomfortable to get use to it. And we are grateful for inclusive authors and articles”.
