Nollywood veteran actress Rachel Oniga has been reported dead, the Nigerian screen mother Rachel Oniga died on Friday, July 30 of an undisclosed ailment at the age of 64.
According to a source, Rachel Oniga was recently filming with her crew in Mowe Ogun State.
The news of Rachel Oniga’s death was announced early Saturday morning.
Her sudden death came as a shock to her colleagues becaous they were not aware she was nursing any ailment in the course of their latest production.
The Nollywood veteran was born on the 23rd of May 1957 in Ebutte Metra, Lagos state but originally from Eku Delta State.
The popular actress has starred in many big productions including the popular Wale Adenuga Television series ‘Super Story’. Her most recent movies include ‘Chief Daddy,’ ‘Royal Hibiscus Hotel’ and ‘My Village People.’
She was survived by three children and several grandchildren.
