Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been crowned 2025 Sportsman of the Year in Turkey at the GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards, in recognition of his remarkable impact at Galatasaray.
The award highlights Osimhen’s immediate and explosive influence since joining the club, where he was pivotal to their domestic success last season, scoring 37 goals and providing 7 assists across all competitions.
His sensational form has carried into the current campaign, with 11 goals in 14 appearances, solidifying his status as a fan favorite and a league icon for the “Yellow and Reds.”
After receiving the honour, Osimhen expressed his gratitude:
