A member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North West/Ibadan South West federal constituency, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, has urged leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to learn from their past mistakes.
Olajide, who was elected on the platform of the PDP, advised the party’s leaders to come together and unite in order to win future elections.
He made these comments in response to the outcome of the gubernatorial election in Edo State, where the PDP candidate lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olajide, in a statement released through his Media Aide, Tolu Mustapha, attributed the PDP’s failure to internal conflicts.
He said, “The party should put aside its differences and work together to achieve victory in the 2027 general elections.
“Unity is a necessary and strategic tool needed to strengthen the party’s position and ensure a more cohesive approach to future elections.
“The Peoples Democratic Party should learn from past mistakes and move forward with a united front as the 2027 general elections approach.
“The PDP’s ability to put aside internal differences and present a united front will be crucial in determining the success of the party in future polls.”
