Kollington Ayinla, a highly acclaimed fuji singer, has recently dismissed rumours of his death and confirmed that he is still alive.
While there were concerns raised about his undisclosed medical condition, the musician expressed his gratitude towards Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his support during his recent illness.
Ayinla also extended thanks to the Chief Medical Director, CMD, Adetokunbo Fabanwo, and the management of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) for their excellent care and treatment.
We hope that Ayinla’s health continues to improve, and he can continue to bring joy to his fans with his music.
“I want to thank Lagosians. I want to thank the government of Lagos State and the management of the State University Teaching Hospital and its leader Adetokunbo O. Fabanwo.
“It is only God that can save life but I want to appreciate him and the team because I would have gone to the great beyond.
“I give it to the LASUTH. They are king for taking care of me. They deserve my salutations. LASUTH LASUTH LASUTH, you are king. They said I was dead, but I’m here speaking alive from the LASUTH now,” he said.
