The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has recently made some key appointments to his administration. These appointments include the Chief of Staff and several Special Advisers.

The position of Chief of Staff, Government House, has been granted to Edison Ehie, who previously served as a factional speaker of the State House of Assembly.
This appointment is expected to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, as Mr. Ehie is known for his impressive track record of public service.
In addition to the Chief of Staff, Governor Fubara has also appointed many Special Advisers to his administration.
These individuals include Darlington Orji, Solomon Abel Eke, Aminayanasam Fiberesima, Deeyah Bariene, and Prince Obi Ohia.
Each of these advisers brings a unique perspective and skill set to the team, and they are expected to play important roles in shaping the policies and initiatives of the Governor’s administration going forward.
Overall, these appointments reflect Governor Fubara’s commitment to building a strong and effective team that is dedicated to serving the people of Rivers State.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tammy Danagogo on Monday, he said, “The newly appointed Chief of Staff and Special Advisers, alongside one guest each are expected to be seated at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House, Monday, 29th January, 2024 at 10:30 am, for the swearing-in ceremony by His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State at 11:00am.”
Ehie in the heat of the political crisis in the state, had resigned as the member representing Ahoada East State constituency 2, and as Speaker of a faction of the State House of Assembly.
