According to reports, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has laid siege in an attempt to arrest the former governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello in Abuja.

The incident was captured in a video shared on AIT’s X handle on Wednesday. The video showed several EFCC operatives stationed at the entrance of the former governor’s Yahaya Bello residence.
Witnesses at the scene said that the operatives were armed and had blocked the entrance, effectively preventing the former governor from leaving or anyone from entering the premises.
The reason for the attempted arrest is yet to be confirmed, and further details are yet to be disclosed.
