Kaka Igbokwe, a former manager of Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Face” Idibia, has confirmed that the singer was indeed arrested in London following a heated altercation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
Rumours of 2Face’s detention began spreading after he failed to appear at a scheduled concert on October 2, 2025, shortly after travelling to the United Kingdom with Natasha, who serves as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze on Monday night, Kaka—who is also the son of late music icon Christy Essien-Igbokwe—validated the reports, saying he was on the same flight as the couple and part of the London team.
“Everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true,” he said.
According to his account, the incident erupted shortly after their arrival. Natasha reportedly became upset after feeling “abandoned” when 2Face walked off with fans who hurried him into a shop, leaving her behind. Realising what had happened, the “African Queen” star rushed back to her, but the confrontation escalated.
The disagreement soon attracted security attention, resulting in 2Face being arrested and handcuffed.
A video of the arrest, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, has since gone viral and reignited public debate over the couple’s relationship and the events that unfolded at the London airport.
