iReporter: Idogbo Community Cries Out As Edo State Taskforce Extort Money From Residence, call on government for quick intervention
Idogbo By-pass shop owners are really facing touch times because of this taskforce. Their focus on shops along By-Pass has a lot to tell.
I am not against their works as taskforce but their orientation towards their duty as taskforce is faulty.

They see the job as an avenue to make money instead of curbing the spread of the COVID-19 disease.
They leave densely populated areas within Benin and focus their attention on shops at the outskirts of the city. Our markets are congested, no taskforce to control and decongest the markets.
Most shops rendering non essential services are opened within the city, and they are not disturbed by the Edo State taskforce, but shops along By-Pass that do not enjoy patronage of more than two at a time are being disturbed, harassed and fine by the Edo State taskforce.
Just today that we thought businesses are allow to open while adhering to preventive measures stipulated by NCDC, they came again like lions looking for who to devour.
Abeg, Oga Eseosa Ewere help us call them to order. If Governor Godwin Obaseki said business should not open today monday , he should clarify us and let us know what he had put in place to feed us.
Otherwise, we would no longer stay at home for hunger virus to kill us. Rather, we will open shops and follow strictly the preventive measures against COVID-19. Thanks.
