The only exception would be for matters of critical national interest, which would require special approval.
The ban would apply to the entire federal cabinet and civil servants, with the exception of External Affairs, Finance, and National Security.
This measure would help to ensure that resources are utilized effectively and that government officials remain focused on addressing the needs of the country.
The post reads, “President Bola Tinubu should issue an executive order to halt all international travel for one year for everyone in the federal government unless he grants special approval for matters critical to the national interest.
“This International travel ban should apply to the entire Federal Cabinet, all heads of agencies, and all civil servants.
“This rule would not apply to External Affairs, Finance, and National Security.”
Ben Bruce added that when international travel is authorised, officials must fly with Nigerian airlines unless there’s no available service on that route.
Ben Bruce also advised that international meetings should be conducted over Zoom.
