According to reports from Sky in Germany, Bayern Munich is currently in discussions with Xabi Alonso, the current manager of Bayer Leverkusen, regarding the possibility of him replacing Thomas Tuchel after the current season.

While Liverpool is also reportedly interested in Xabi Alonso as a potential successor to Jurgen Klopp, initial talks with Xabi Alonso have allegedly yielded a positive response from Bayern.
The compensation package for the 42-year-old manager is estimated to be between £12.8m-£21.3m (€15m-€25m) should he ultimately be appointed as the Bundesliga champions’ next coach.
“They have the information that, if he changes, he will go to Bayern and not Liverpool.
“Alonso says that Liverpool and the [Jurgen] Klopp legacy are a difficult number. You could lose more than win,” Sky in Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports.
