Ahead of the October 10 governorship political race in Ondo State which is around five days from now, 10 political have pulled back from the governorship race to support Eyitayo Jegede of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
The 10 political parties revealed this on monday and to support Eyitayo Jegede the PDP aspirant.
The political parties are Accord Party, Action Alliance, Action Democratic Party, APGA, APM, APP, NNPP, AAC. NRM, and SDP respectively.

Talking in the interest of the political parties at the PDP secretariat in Akure, the Ondo State capital, the Chairman of Social Democratic Party, Prince Oladele Ogunbameru said the choice was made at a meeting held on October 4, 2020 with the leaders and chieftain of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
As per the SDP Chairman, the move was a result of their pledge to great administration in the state, which they accept must be offered by the PDP.
Responding to the turn of events, the State chairman of the PDP, Fatai Adams said the help from the 10 political parties demonstrated adequacy of Eyitayo Jegede which shows that the party will rise triumphant at the poll.
