Fidelis Ilechukwu, the head coach of the Rangers, is gearing up for the upcoming midweek fixture against Kano Pillars.
The Flying Antelopes, a seven-time champion, faced Kwara United over the weekend in Enugu, but unfortunately, the game ended in a goalless draw.
Now, as they look forward to their matchday 25 encounter on Wednesday, the team will be traveling to the Sani Abacha Stadium to take on Kano Pillars.
The coach and his team are hoping to secure a critical victory to boost their chances of winning the league title.
‘It was not a good performance from us because it was a game we prepared very well for,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“We thought that we were going to get all three points, but in football, so many things happen, and we just had a bad day in the match, especially in the first half.
‘It was an unfortunate experience for us. This result is a temporary setback.
“We hope to get something good when we play Kano Pillars in our next game.
Rangers dropped to fourth place on the table following the result.
