Chelsea’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, recently held a meeting with his entire squad and staff to remind them of the importance of discipline.

This meeting was called after there was a clash between his players over a penalty kick during their recent 6-0 win over Everton.
While Cole Palmer scored four goals in the game, Conor Gallagher had to intervene when Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke began to fight over a second-half penalty.
Gallagher then handed the ball to Palmer, who is the side’s designated penalty taker.
To ensure that such incidents don’t happen again, Pochettino has confirmed that he spoke to the entire team ahead of their upcoming FA Cup clash with Manchester City.
“I made it clear after the game. We had a meeting with players and staff; also involved were the sporting directors [Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley] and I explained my feelings and the way they are going to act in the future if something like this [happens].
“Now we need to move on; they are clever and understand the situation. We were talking a lot after Monday. Wednesday, Thursday and today, still because we were practising penalties,” Pochettino told the media.
