As the date of the swearing-in approaches, scrutiny over their actions and motives intensifies, prompting calls for transparency and accountability in governance.

Sources close to the incoming APC government revealed that Okpebholo and his leaders are working with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to ground the Edo State Government account days to the end of the Obaseki administration so that there will be no funds officially released for the inauguration activities.

This will then pave the way for Okpebholo to approve around N10 billion naira under the guise of paying back the people who advanced them money to fund the ceremony.

The bulk of this money is to be distributed among the Godfathers and leaders and the endorcers of the APC who played a role to ensure Okpebholo was declared the winner in the September 21 Governorship election.

The source revealed that the new Okpebholo government plans to immediately begin to settle its enforcers, godfathers and stakeholders to ensure a united front going in the the judicial phase of trying to defend the electoral victory which many believe to have been fraudulently ensured by INEC and the Police.

Senator Monday Okpebholo and his gang have confirmation that Governor Obaseki is leaving a robust cash balance for the kick-start of his administration hence the planning of the November 12th heist!
