As part of the agreement, Conor Gallagher will be heading in the opposite direction. Following a renewed interest in Omorodion earlier in the week, Chelsea has successfully reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid.
It has been reported that Chelsea will pay an initial £35 million along with additional add-ons to secure the services of the 20-year-old striker.
Samu Omorodion is expected to ink a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge. Atletico Madrid had initially been hesitant to allow the sale of Omorodion without securing a replacement.
However, it appears that a move for Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez is in the final stages and is expected to be completed soon.
