Lazio have reinstated Fisayo Dele-Bashiru to their Serie A squad after the Nigeria international returned to full fitness.
Dele-Bashiru was initially left out following a bicep femoris injury sustained during the Derby della Capitale against Roma in September. With his recovery complete, he’s now available for selection.
To make room, full-back Elseid Hysaj has been removed from the squad. The 24-year-old midfielder, who has made four league appearances this season under Maurizio Sarri, is also expected to be part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Dele-Bashiru has been linked with a potential January exit, but for now, he could feature in Lazio’s Serie A clash against AC Milan on Saturday.
