BREAKING: Six feared dead as military aircraft crashes in Abuja
Early this morning, a military aircraft have been reportedly crashed landed in the federal capital territory Abuja.
The Daily News gathered that, six people comprised two crew members and four passengers feared killed.
The aircraft, a NAF201 B350, was said to be Minna, Niger State bound when it developed engine problem around 10:39am.
The aircraft crashed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport runway 22 around 10:48am and immediately gutted fire.
Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, confirmed the crashed via twitter. “A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of our Abuja runway after reporting engine failure enroute Minna.
‘’It appears to be fatal. We should remain calm & wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.”
