14th edition of Headies award took place on Sunday, February 21 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Nigerian rising star, Omah Lay won the honor for the ‘Next Rated Artiste’ as Wizkid clinched “Artiste of The Year”.
New sensation artiste, Fireboy returned home with five honors. The YBNL vocalist musician packed away the most honor for the evening.
A lot of the show had been pre-recorded and the live event, featuring nominees held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This year new categories emerged, Songwriter of The Year and Best Alternative Album.
Famous Nigerian comedian, Bovi and media personality Nancy Isime filled in as the host for the 2020 Headies Award ceremony.
