A Malibu based Nigerian Rock n Roll star with a mission to revive the genre in Africa has express his feeling on the current issue happening in Nigeria especially the #Lekkimassacre which took place on Tuesday in Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos Nigeria.
Teshi, has been a voice of “One Africa” and the black consciousness using his music as a frontline to liberate Africa from their oppressor.
He currently set up a movement call “The Teshi Movement” to revived rock n roll music in Africa.
He wrote:
Everything start with your imagination, how you perceive yourself that is how you are going to end up.
Born in Africa Nigeria, i grew up there but i have been in America, united state for 30yrs, so i can speak on this subject on how black people value themselves and how white people value themselves.
The different is that, white people love their own people but black people don’t love their own people that is the problem
Place like Nigeria where you have over 200million blacks, Nigeria should be leading but they are not.
Politician don’t care about their own people, the military don’t care about their own people, they are using the military and the police to oppress their own people, this self hate has been going on long time ago.
Everywhere you go in the whole world the black consciousness is down, if you go to Brazil black people are down, go to Europe England black people are down, go to Middle East the dark skin folks are the one behind.
Go to Latin America Colombia blacks are down, in America blacks are down, so what is going on with the blacks consciousness.
Blacks people has to rise, black people has to get up, we are suppose to be lions, we are strong, we are not weak, we have to learn to love our own people.
Nigeria called herself a democracy but people are not allow to protest on the street, our leaders unleash military on them, its a disgrace.
Buhari what are you guys doing, you putting your onw peo;e down, it twisted Africa has to rise.
You can not suppress the young one, they are the future, you have to let them rise, you have to let them strives.
It so good hope is coming, never give up the fight. #Endsars.
One love.
