Tinubu, who made the guarantee in Makurdi on Tuesday, while tending to APC delegates, said there is no challenge between him and whoever will arise as presidential flagbearer from the opposition of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“I won’t retire from politics until I am the president of Nigeria. I will bring the experience of my leadership in Lagos state as Governor to bear on leadership style in Nigeria.
“Let me guarantee Nigerians of running a transparent and open administration that will take care of all interest groups across the nation.”
According to him, Nigeria is rich and blessed, noting that what is needed is to redirect our resources and channel them in the right direction.
He appealed to APC delegates in Benue state to vote for him at the primaries to emerge and challenge anyone in PDP to victory.
In his remarks, a member of Tinubu presidential entourage, Senator Kashim Shetimma, had extolled the virtues of Senator J.S Tarka as leader and emancipator of the minority interest groups in Nigeria.
Senator Kassim insists that Bola Tinubu is the right person to take Nigeria to the promise land and called on all delegates of APC to cast their votes for him to emerge as the presidential flag bearer.
Responding, the state chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Austin Agada, described Tinubu’s presence as homecoming that will be supported to realise his ambition.
He said, given the poor performance of the PDP-led government in Benue state in the past seven years, APC will take over affairs to reposition the state next year for the good of all.
