Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed plans to return to school in a bid to better manage his music career and business affairs.

The Zazu crooner explained that although he already holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, he now realises the need to further his education to gain a deeper understanding of the financial and administrative aspects of the music industry.
Portable stated that his aim is to properly oversee his record label, Zeh Nation, without overly relying on other people for guidance.
“Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation,” he said.
He noted that his decision is not driven by the desire to obtain another certificate, but by the need to acquire practical knowledge that will help him manage his career and earnings efficiently.
Portable added that understanding the business side of music is crucial for any artist who intends to build a lasting legacy.
The singer, known for his energetic street pop style and controversial public persona, said he is now focused on running his music empire with the mindset of a seasoned entrepreneur.
