Sunday Igboho was granted the money after his lawyer, Mr. Yomi Alliyu (SAN)  had filed an N500 billion fundamental human rights enforcement suit against the AGF, DSS, and Director of the DSS in Oyo State over the incident.

Ruling on the case, Justice Ladiran Akintola said the DSS exhibited unprofessional conduct during the invasion and also violated Igboho’s human rights.
