Legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba has revealed that his first son, Nino Idibia, has no plans to pursue a career in music — despite being a talented saxophonist.
The music icon made the revelation while bringing Nino on stage during his 25th anniversary celebration event in Abuja.
Introducing him to the excited crowd, 2Baba said:
“Make some noise for my son, Nino! He said he doesn’t want to be a singer. He wants to be a doctor.”
His statement drew loud cheers from the audience.
Nino Idibia — born on January 15, 2006, to 2Baba and Sumbo Adeoye — is not just musically gifted but also works as a model and social media influencer. Despite growing up around music, he has chosen a completely different career path.
