Former Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido claimed that only the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) have what it takes to lead Nigerians out of poverty.
Alhaji Sule Lamido expressed that, due to the recent situation in the country by the ruling party APC, Nigerians would cast their vote for the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 general election.

speaking in Dutse, the Jigawa State after the effective and successful conduct of the local government election across the 27 Local Government area of the state, Alhaji Sule Lamido added that the most recent five years have been howling and hanging tight to no end.
As indicated by him, the party has been very steady in Jigawa State, having conquered a few difficulties that prompted the constitution of caretaker committee, taking note of that the congress which has occurred now shows harmony among the party members.
He said, “Nigeria is at a crossroad, people are wailing all over the country, the insecurity, the poverty, the culture of hatred, there is lack of love in Nigeria we need a party like PDP which is rooted in people’s heart which is not owned by the people not by any individual, the party understands Nigeria.
“What you see here shows that PDP is going to win the election and it is going to solve the problem of Nigeria.
“So we should look at the deep problem we are in, we must make sure we put in the party that can restore Nigeria and restore our land, our trust, our stability, our economy, restore our safety.
“There is no way you can run the country, restore human development if there is no peace.
He said when PDP was in power, “The present ruling party told lies about security, told lies about corruption and we were flushed out and they are now in charge you can see the difference judge for yourselves.”
