2027 Kogi East senatorial hopeful, Tim Diche, has expressed deep concern over Nigeria’s rising insecurity, warning that the crisis is “bleeding the nation” and threatening to overshadow the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking in Abuja, Diche said Nigerians now judge government performance by real improvements in safety and economic wellbeing, not promises.
He stated:
“The insecurity problem in Nigeria is degrading and diminishing the Tinubu government. The gains recorded under this administration are under serious threat.”
Reacting to U.S. President Donald Trump’s genocide allegation, Diche said the concerns reflect harsh realities Nigerians face daily, with too many lives being lost.
Despite the challenges, he praised the APC’s growing strength under President Tinubu, noting that the party is now more formidable than during the Buhari era.
Diche also applauded Governor Usman Ododo’s strides in human development but called for a strategic reset of his economic and political reforms to better serve citizens.
